Does Grade 12 English Really Matter For University Admissions?

Every time we think about English the first thing that would pop up in our minds are probably communication, writing essays and literature. Most of us know that all the University programs require a Grade 12 English University level. We learn a lot of skills when it comes to learning English, especially communication.

Should grade 12 University level English be a requirement for entry into all university programs? 

In my opinion, I believe that Grade 12 University leveled English should be a requirement for all the University Admissions. We all have to learn and enhance our knowledge by learning English because this is our first language in our country. Most of the University courses should require a very high level of understanding and writing. No matter what you/we take, (e.g. Science or Math, etc.)

We need to practice our communication skills especially we're still in high school because in the future when we have our jobs, we would always have to communicate with our co-workers in a correct grammar and tone. Communication is an essential skill because without this, in the future and in our everyday lives,  communicating with people without using proper words or vocabulary would be a struggle for us.

Writing skills could be also a helpful skill for us in University because writing essays or notes and reports can help us to learn and explore pieces of information, and it can help us to write effective letters or emails to our colleagues as well.

In conclusion, I strongly believe that Grade 12 University level should still be a requirement in  Universities because having English skills would be a big help for us to be successful.
